For Creators
How Creators Can Price Brand Collaborations
Clear pricing starts with scope. Package the work, state the boundaries and preserve the currency and terms you agree.

Calculate the work behind the deliverable
A final video may represent research, scripting, setup, filming, editing, captions, revisions and client communication. List the steps you routinely perform and estimate the time and direct costs attached to them. Pricing only the visible finished asset can hide most of the work required to make it.
Your process will change as your skills, equipment and demand change. Review it regularly and keep your package description aligned with what you can reliably deliver now.
Make the base package specific
Name the content type, quantity, duration, turnaround and included revisions. State whether the asset is delivered to the brand, posted to your audience or both. If raw files, alternate edits, travel or product sourcing cost extra, keep those outside the base scope until requested.
A clear package helps brands compare responsibly and protects you from open-ended assumptions. It also gives you a stable starting point when a brief requires customization.
- Deliverable format and quantity
- Production and delivery timeline
- Included review or revision rounds
- Posting and usage terms that are part of the price
Price additional rights and complexity separately
A brand using an asset on its organic feed is different from a brand running it in paid advertising or requesting a long usage period. Ask where the work will appear, for how long and whether the brand can edit it. Record those terms with the commercial agreement.
Rush timing, extra locations, specialist production and additional revisions can also change the workload. Explain the change in scope rather than presenting a higher number without context.
Keep commercial records clear
Confirm the price and original currency before starting. Keep the agreed package, changes, payment reference and collaboration state together wherever possible. Collabistan records manual payment activity; it does not promise automated settlement or instant payout.
After completion, review whether the package was profitable and manageable. Adjust future scope or price from your own working evidence rather than copying another creator's visible rate without knowing what it includes.
